Our olive groves
Our fields, where a high percentage of the raw materials used in the production process are obtained, are located in the Northwest Region of Argentina, in the provinces of La Rioja, San Juan, and Catamarca. We have more than 847,000 olive trees growing in a mountainous environment known for its natural health.
The semi-arid climate is ideal for the development of vigorous olive groves that produce excellent quality fruit.
The Agro Aceitunera group has 4,400 hectares of olive groves planted with table olives, with planting densities ranging from 312 to 800 plants per hectare, and olive oil plantations with a density of 550 to 1,500 plants per hectare. We have 1,800 hectares in the province of San Juan, and 2,600 hectares in La Rioja.
All hectares have high-tech drip irrigation in order to make efficient use of water in an area where it is a scarce resource.
Strict care of each plant and the utmost respect for the environment ensure the excellence of our raw materials for the production of extra virgin olive oil and olives that meet the most rigorous quality standards and surprise the most discerning palates.
